NEW DOCUMENTARY

Singer-songwriter Regina Spektor’s life changed forever when, as a child, she was taken under the wings of musicians Sonia Vargas and Samuel Marder. Now Marder, a widower and Holocaust survivor, is speaking out about his painful past, with Spektor at his side. Grounded in their profound intergenerational friendship, this inspirational tale shows how music can help us in the worst of times.

Daniel’s forthcoming documentary, My Friend Sam, co-produced by Judd Apatow, Sarah Anthony, Regina Spektor, and Jack Dishel, is currently in post-production.

Paul McCartney

Daniel had the thrill of a lifetime taking these photographs of Paul McCartney performing live in Mexico City on the 14th of November at Estadio GNP Seguros.

Jack White

Daniel was lucky enough to photograph Jack White performing live in Chicago on the 28th of October at the 400-capacity Reggie's Rock Club in Chicago, IL.

BEHIND THE WORK WITH HOZIER

It was a pleasure for Daniel to connect with Zara Naseer at Little Black Book Online for a conversation about 'Nobody's Soldier.' They delved into the music video’s message and its collaborative filmmaking approach.

Daniel had the pleasure of photographing Pulp's electrifying performance in Chicago on the 8th of September at the band's US Tour kickoff show.

I FIGURED YOU OUT

Daniel recently directed this live performance video of Joanna Sternberg playing "I Figured You Out" to celebrate what would have been Elliott Smith's 55th birthday. Filmed at the timeless California Clipper (est. 1937) in Chicago, Joanna's heartfelt cover pays tribute to Elliott Smith’s enduring legacy.

Daniel directed the music video for Hozier’s latest single, "Nobody's Soldier", off of his latest EP entitled "Unaired".

Daniel was honored to contribute to promoting Interpol’s massive 160,000-capacity show at the Zócalo in the heart of Mexico City on Saturday, April 20th, 2024 with this teaser advertising the live stream for Channel 14.
